A Baby Story Word Game with Printable

Happy Siblings Reading Book Under Cover

Do you remember Mad Libs? That game where you make a list of verbs, nouns, adjectives, etc and then fill them into a story template and end up with a crazy story that leaves you rolling with laughter? I decided to create one for pregnancy, birth, and babies for your enjoyment. This game is great for a quiet (although not for long) night at home or at a baby shower! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Grab a piece of paper, number it 1-40 and then write the corresponding word. Then copy it over to the story below. Or, for ease, use the printable version, A Baby Story Printable Word Game!

I knew I was nearing the end of my pregnancy because my ___________________ (18) had gotten so ______________________ (19) and I felt as __________________________ (20) as a _______________________ (21).

When my ___________________ (22) broke, we _______________ (23) to the __________________ (24) in our ___________________ (25). We knew that our baby would be here soon. _____________________ (26) hours of labor and _________________ (27) hours of pushing and our _________________ (28) baby was born! We counted ________________ (29) _______________ (30) ________________ (31) and _________________ (32) ________________ (33) _________________ (34). Our baby was perfect.

Our middle of the night feedings have been so ___________ (35), because baby loves __________________ (36). The first time I changed the baby’s diaper, my _____________________ (37) got covered in ____________________ (38). I am looking forward to the first time my baby __________________ (39) and eats ___________________ (40).
