Sandra Quints

she/her

Birth & Postpartum Doula

BIO

For as long as she can remember, caretaking has been a cornerstone of Sandra’s life. She has spent the last decade working with infants and children as a nanny, and realized a few years ago that she felt called to expand her circle of care. She saw first hand how difficult it was for new parents to navigate parenthood and receive support when it wasn’t provided by family or friends (and even when it was!), and a need for something to fill the gap.

Sandra learned that birth work is political, and the reasons for this care gap are intersectional and must be addressed at various levels. She feels passionate about disability justice, fat liberation, and queer family building!

In her spare time, Sandra likes crafting, living room dance parties, cooking for friends, and spending quality time with her partner.
