Farhat Hamid is a birth doula based in Nashville, Tennessee, originally from Afghanistan. She is a mother of a four-year-old son and is deeply passionate about supporting mothers, newborns, and families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

She completed her midwifery studies in Afghanistan; however, due to U.S. regulations, she was unable to continue practicing in her original profession. Despite this, she remained committed to maternal care and pursued training and certification as a birth doula to continue serving families in this field.

Farhat has experience working in a hospital setting and is currently working with Equum Virtual Care in the observation department.

She is dedicated to providing compassionate, respectful, and culturally sensitive care, supporting families with dignity, understanding, and evidence-based guidance during pregnancy, childbirth, and early newborn care.
